Fetch top tracks and top artists directly from Last.fm for 3, 6, or 12 months.

02

Layer in weekly chart movement so the arrows feel like a real chart, not decorative UI.

03

Export the active chart or quilt with the active accent theme as a ready to share image.

How It Works

Chartwave reads your listening history, then turns it into visual formats built for sharing.

Enter a Last.fm username, choose a timeframe, and Chartwave pulls top tracks, top artists, and top albums directly from the Last.fm API. From there, it layers in weekly movement, color themes, and export-ready layouts.

1. Fetch

Read your Last.fm top data

Chartwave requests your top tracks, artists, and albums for the selected time window without asking for your Last.fm password.

2. Compare

Add weekly movement and streak context

Weekly chart snapshots are used to calculate movement arrows and how long the current No. 1 track or artist has stayed on top.

3. Style

Choose the layout and accent

Switch between track charts, artist charts, and album quilts, then tune the final look with pink, blue, or cyan accents.

4. Export

Download the exact version on screen

The generated PNG matches the current chart mode, shuffled album set, and accent theme so the finished export is predictable.

Track Charts

Billboard-inspired top tens

Highlight your most-played songs with rank movement, playcounts, artwork, and weekly No. 1 streak context.

Artist Charts

See who owns your rotation

Compare your top artists across the selected timeframe and track whether they are rising, holding, or falling week to week.

Album Quilts

Randomized cover grids

Pull a fresh random selection from your top 50 albums to create 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 cover mosaics each time you shuffle.
